So how could I drive past the home of the Lexington Legends minor league baseball team and not snap a quick picture? I love this place! Applebee's Park, the official home of the Lexington Legends is truly one of my favorite ways to enjoy summer time in Lexington.
There is nothing like spending a warm summer evening at the park watching great baseball and experiencing all the fun and excitement that is minor league baseball.

The Lexington Legends have been Lexington's baseball team since 2001 and have provided us years of fun and excitement season after season. Several years ago even future baseball Hall of Fame candidate Roger Clemons, suited up to pitch a game for the Legends. Yes, THE Roger Clemons! The game was carried live by ESPN and various other national media outlets. So if you are a Lexington resident or just visiting for the weekend, get out to the park and watch the boys play! Lots of great family fun, peanuts, popcorn and Cracker Jacks!
