Used to be, second-home buyers coming up to the North Georgia mountains were content with a basic cabin with few amentities. Most of the cabins built through the '80s and '90s were fairly rustic affairs with tiny closets and baths, stripped-down kitchens, small rooms, and little else. Simply being able to escape from the city and glory in the finest nature has to offer was incentive enough to come to the mountains.
