showings: Adventures in Home Showings II - 05/01/08 09:21 AM
It's time for another chapter of Adventures in Home Showings.  My first post, Adventures in Home Showings  was my beginning of looking at houses in and around the Chester County, Pennsylvania area.
These were from a little while ago, my client had the pictures in her camera :)  Both incidents happened the SAME DAY with the same clients.
It's a little hard to make out, but this stone is in the bed between the house and garage.

showings: Adventures in Home Showings - 02/06/08 06:53 PM
I know we could all write a book about Adventures in Home Showings.... but this has been a very interesting couple of weeks....
Last week:  Saw Infomercial headquarters.  This house had every product of the infomercials out there...my client was first to notice.
Saturday: Getting stuck in the mud with clients was quite the adventure after a rainy couple of days and an unpaved drive.

They spray painted in Black the entire ceiling of unfinished basement - sprayed wires, duct work, electric junction … (4 comments)

So this afternoon, I wrote a blog, Tell the Listing Agent. It's about making sure you notify the listing agent if you notice something (smell of gas) or you lose the key to the house you are showing....
Later this afternoon I was out with Mr and Mrs Buyer.  We saw a few newer homes, then a couple of fantastic historic older style places about 45 minutes away in the country.   Unfortunately, the house was on the only main road to and from town with a sharp curve in sight.
We had just had a couple of days of heavy rain, the … (7 comments)

showings: Take the Dogs Away - 01/12/08 07:28 PM
"Friendly dog inside.  One year old Lab." Yeah, right!  I know he's a part of the family... but....
I arrive after (car problems, don't ask)  my clients to show them a house, they meet me with, "Do you know there's a big dog ?"
Here I have Mr & Mrs New Buyer with Mrs Buyer's father and uncle along watching.............  "No problem.  It's just a lab, I'm sure he's fine.  I'll go around back and let you in the front door"
"He was in the back yard, now he's inside.  But, ok. Kim. If we hear you scream, we'll call for help"
It's just … (16 comments)
