Being a structural pest inspector and all, more into wood destroying insects than vermin, I had to notice a news story I saw today. And, with Sean Allen, down there in Florida, being a regular here in the active rain, I had to read the details about the ceiling that was raining mice.
It seems that the mice are "infesting" the courthouse in West Palm Beach. While the story seems rather amusing on the surface, I guess that it would be lacking in that department if you were afraid of mice, or if you had to pay money to get rid of them. … (14 comments)

 It is odd. People do not want rodents in their homes. Yet they often fail to do something as simple as putting one plus one together. That something simple is realizing that rodents are going to enter a crawl space when they have a window of opportunity, such as through numerous holes left by workers or homeowners.
