nutsy wallenda: Speaking of Canadian Cousins - 08/07/10 02:32 PM
Earlier I posted about my recent visit to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I was back there on family business and had a great time with my Canadian cousins.
This seems perfectly natural to me but, Charles Buell and some of his ilk, were genuinely surprised, or feigned surprise, when they found out that my wife and I took my certifried home inspector assistant, Nutsy S. Wallenda, along.
When push came to shove, I really could not leave him at home because, at the 11th hour, he convinced me that he too had cousins in Saskatoon.
It ends up that he was not kidding.

nutsy wallenda: Nutsy's Fascinating Labor Day Revelation - 09/07/09 10:32 AM
Many years ago, when I was raised in another state, I was at Oakwood elementary school and the instructor told me that, throughout modern history, two names are more famous than those of past Presidents and world leaders.
One of those two names was a fictional character -- Sherlock Holmes. The other was a real person -- Harry Houdini. It was the real person, not the fictional one, that had close ties to the Wallenda family.
My great, great uncle, Pinenut Wallenda, was Houdini's right hand squirrel. Uncle Pinenut was Houdini's best hope to avert tragedy.  If something went wrong, Pinenut would … (19 comments)

nutsy wallenda: The FBI Is Still Looking -- D.B. Cooper Where Are You? - 02/09/09 08:04 AM
Recently, I wrote about one of the Pacific Northwest's most notorious residents: Mr Bigfoot. Today I am going to write about another northwest legend. If you do not believe in Bigfoot, then you have to believe in this one because it is all reality, no fantasy.
If you lived in the northwest, maybe anywhere in the U.S. and Canada, in the 1970's you will remember the name D.B. Cooper. Whether he is viewed as a modern Robin Hood (helping only himself it would seem) or an extortionist, he was very real. Just in case some of us have forgotten, D.B. (Dan) Cooper … (58 comments)

nutsy wallenda: Incarcerted In Mexico -- Nutsy's Plea - 01/21/09 03:34 PM
Active Rain friends, as many of you know I squirreled my way into Mexico unknown to the boss. I want you to know that this is really from Nutsy, not an imposter. I am posting from my bosses homepage so you know. He is so busy getting ready to go that he will not see it. I have been down here for more than a week and I have had a wonderful time. I have been reuniting with family, meeting wild women and sampling many exotic beverages. That way, I am not drinking the water.
Well, last night I was unfairly … (35 comments)

nutsy wallenda: We Owe a Debt of Gratitude to the Duncan Cat - 12/09/08 01:02 PM
On the weekend Barbara Duncan announced at her blog that her trusted friend and cat had captured and neutralized a bird that we later found out had been trying to break into her house. While the actions of the cat, at first, were suspicious it ended up that the cat was acting with great restraint and was in fact merely protecting the Duncan property. Any interrogator, looking into the eyes of this cat, sees total honesty.

A crack team of international investigators flew to Arkansas to investigate a suspicion by Mrs Duncan that the victim was Raven DeCrow, a confederate … (31 comments)

nutsy wallenda: My Amazing Discovery Found While Enlarging Satellite Photos - 10/15/08 02:16 PM
As you probably know, it first became common knowledge many years ago, in the Tom Clancy novels and the movies that followed, that the U.S. government, and some other foreign governments, have the ability to track human activity, anywhere in the world, through satellite imagery.
While some of the entertainment satellites might be 22,000 miles from earth, the spy satellites tend to be about 100 to 300 miles above earth. They are far away, but closer to us. That is where we get into my interesting discovery this morning. This is a photo taken from a spy satellite of what is believed to … (40 comments)
