I felt like such a fool today. I was out at coffee with two longtime friends who I went to high school with back in the late 1960's. One friend said to me: "Speaking of inspection, did you know that our former friend and classmate Billy Myer just sold his firm?"

washington home inspector licensing board: Washington State Home Inspector Licensing Sub-Committee Meeting - 08/19/08 11:01 AM
I have had requests from some Washington State Home Inspectors to post information, as it comes available, about the sub-committee meetings on home inspector licensing. Since active rain has such good SEO, this should get the word out.
It has been announced by DOL that the sub-committee, Changing Business Practices, will meet on August 22, 2008 at 9:30 am. It lasts until noon. The location of the meeting will be at 2000 4th Ave W, Olympia, 2nd Floor conference room. The agenda will focus on the Standards of Practice and, if time permits, Professional Conduct.

washington home inspector licensing board: Public Photo--Washington State Home Inspector Licensing Advisory Board - 08/14/08 01:17 AM
The State of Washington has released a photo, shall we say publicity photo, of the new home inspector licensing advisory board. The board is pictured with State Senator Harriet Spanel, who worked for years to get home inspector legislation passed. She said, speaking to the board, that it was one of the most controversial bills she has ever worked on. This was taken at the first meeting, in early August.
