15: Potential $15,000 Credit for All New Homeowners when you Buy!!! - 02/07/09 01:55 PM

If you're a potential homebuyer or homeseller and you don't know already, the US Senate unanimously approved an admendment (proposed by Georgia Senator Johnny Isakson) to the stimulas package on Wednesday.
This amendment would allow anyone who buys a home in 2009 to receive a tax credit of 10 percent of the value of the home the buy, up to a $15,000 limit. This means that if you buy a home that costs more than $150,000, you will receive a $15,000 gift from Uncle Sam!
