2nd Quarter stats for residential homes in Carroll County, New Hampshire report a marginal increase in new listing activity and back on the market properties when compared to last year. 2nd quarter active listings for 2009 reported 274 residential homes for sale, while today’s volume reports 319 active listings resulting in a 16.4% increase. Another important fact to note…residential property values are now on the rise averaging a 17% increase within the County vs. 6.7% for the whole of New Hampshire. The … (2 comments)

July market stats reflect a 1 ½+ year supply of available homes and a 12.5% decrease in new Wakefield Residential Listings. Successful sales are also down 33.3% over last year’s MTD transactions.  The time it takes to experience a successful sale has increased 16.6%.  It continues to be a “Buyers” market…inventory remains at an all time high with a reported 170 active residential listings; there is a property to satisfy just about every potential buyer actively searching for a suitable home within the value range of $49,900 to $1,250,000.

Property Values and Sales are Up while Overall Market Activity Remains Sluggish!
The July market reports an 42% decrease in new Wolfeboro Residential Listings, property owners are reluctant to place their home on the market while inventory remains at some of the highest levels in years.  Back on the Market homes have seen a 100% increase over 2009’s MTD stats.  Pending sales combined with Contingent contracts were up 13.3%, and Sold homes reported a 125% increase.  The average DOM (Days on the Market) had a slight increase of three days over last July, … (1 comments)
