Today is February 13, 2012 ~ Information obtained from the National Weather Service ~ Looks like we might finally see some winter weather here in Lake Arrowhead ~
Today: Snow showers. Some thunder is also possible. High near 39. South wind between 15 and 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible. Tonight: Snow showers, mainly before 10pm. Some thunder is also possible. Low around 25. Southwest wind 15 to 20 mph decreasing to between 5 and 10 mph. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. … (0 comments)

Per the National Weather Service the Lake Arrowhead region is looking at getting a soaking through Wednesday. The highs will be in the mid 40's. Our snow level is still pretty high, so the chances of snow are slim.
On a up side, the lake is already full. Typically our lake reaches it's level from an entire winter, not this year! A series of storms have hit our area since last Friday. High winds, heavy rain and foggy weather is what we have had.

Thursday should be partly cloudy

JANUARY 19, 2010 ~ Yesterday's storm packed some punch... Today it looks to be a transition into the next storm. The roads are icy and there is scattered pockets of fog. The weather channel is predicting that the next storm will move in later this afternoon, in to tonight and Thursday will be our biggest portion of the storm. The snow level is suppose to start out at the 6000 foot level and we might see some snow flurries at our elevation of 5274 feet.

Merry Christmas greetings from Lake Arrowhead...
This weekend will bring some perfect weather to the lake. We are expecting clear skies for Christmas Eve and Christmas day. It will be brisk, but sunny. The highs will be around 48 degrees for the weekend and the lows will be around 26 degrees.
Don't forget that the Lake Arrowhead Village will be open this weekend for the after Christmas shopping. Come up and enjoy the wonderful winter we are having.

Yes, that's right! The first snow fall of the season came to us this weekend and what a great sight. Thanksgiving was just finishing and the wind started to howl and the storm moved in. We woke up yesterday to a nice blanket of snow. What a great way to decorate for Christmas than the first snow.
This weeks weather forecast should be a nice one. A few scattered showers today, getting windy and sunny this afternoon.
The average temp for the week will be around 50 degrees durning the day and down in the 30's in the nights. … (10 comments)

The local ski resorts are very excited. The last storm that hit Lake Arrowhead this past weekend, dumped another 2 feet of snow. The weather report for this weekend should be fantastic. Sunny and highs in the mid 50's. Awesome time to drive up the hill and enjoy this winter wonderland while it is here. THIS WEEK MIGHT PROVE TO BE OUR FIRST GOOD WINTER STORM OF THE SEASON.
THEY ARE ANTICIPATING 3-4 INCHES OF RAIN IN THE FLATLANDS, SO MAYBE A GOOD AMOUNT OF SNOW FOR US... SNOW LEVEL IS STARTING AT AROUND 6300 FT AND WILL BE DROPPING, SO MAYBE SOME SNOW FOR US.
