taxation: Like Kind Exchange Online Calculator - 06/16/08 07:07 PM
I found something that may be useful for some of you.  The following link http://www.sjbts.net/calc-section.html has multiple calculators including one for 1031 Exchanges.  It's always a benefit to have tolls like this when dealing with investors, sells, agents or anyone who may be impacted by like kind exchanges or business decisions with potential tax consequences.  I hope you find it to be of benefit.

In the attached link I ran into a post noting that one's name may indeed be on the deed (sorry) but in the end the one who owns our property isn't us.  Sad to say it but in the end the goverment owns every last square inch.  And, if you don't pay your taxes they'll take it back.  In fact some of us and a few investors make a living reselling forclosed and tax defaulted properies.  Problem is, seldom to we pause to remember this pointiant fact.
