The Saginaw County Chamber of Comerce held its monthly Percolators Breakfast Series today and the topic was the Solar Initiative.
The Great Lakes Bay Region is comprised of Bay, Midland and Saginaw Counties. They have partnered not only the economic development arms of each County, but the business minds and communities to make this Region a leader for tomorrow.

Saginaw has just received the good news that it hasbeen selected for a $1 billion expansion to Hemlock-Semi Conductor in Hemlock, MI. This news comes at a much need time. With all the doom and gloom in the news, I am amazed the amount of time people spend watching or reading. What is more amazing is that people take what they see and read as the truth.
There are good things happening all around us. Take my town, Saginaw Michigan, for example.
If you were to believe everything you read about Saginaw, you would think that there is nothing good happening here. The housing market stinks, the job markets stink, the stock market stinks!
This is what I say. This is an amazing community that is rallying to not only survive but grow.
