jp morgan chase: Who will this help? - 11/03/08 05:16 PM

J.P. Morgan Chase has announced that they will be actively seeking homeowners who are in need of a Loan Modification! In fact they are going to open 24 regional branches advocating for the needy! This not only is designed to address our nation's greatest crisis, but it will open over 500 new jobs for the company. Chase appears to be the front runner to what appears to be a long road to recovery. They also have announced that they are going to place a freeze on foreclosures during this 90 day period. jp morgan chase: Bear Stearns, Do we realize how close we came to 1929'? - 03/30/08 12:40 AM

Is it me or did we come terribly close to being in 1929' on March 16, 2008. For those who are not aware (and many are not) Bear Stearns is an investment Bank a securities trading and brokerage Bank!
Bears Stearns recently agreed to a merger with JP Morgan Chase in part to save their butts, but in another way it was to save the US economy!
In an unprecedented act, our government gave BS a non recourse $30 Billion loan. A non recourse loan simply means a loan for a certain collateral. If the loan goes belly up only the collateral … (6 comments)
