Retired Colonel Rick Rescorla, served in Vietnam in 1965 and died during the terrorist attack on 9/11. Rescorla will be honored at Fort Benning, with the unveiling of a bronze statue, at 11am, Thursday, September 17th, at the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center._______________________________________________________________

On 9/11, he witnessed the burning of Tower 1 at the World Trade Center from his office on the 66th floor of Tower 2.
