I sit in my office, at my computer screen I stare;
Knowing my fate, if I remain in my chair.
Email is dandy, and the telephone is fine
But face to face greeting, works best everytime.

I am really enjoying this slow period to be honest.  Not to say that I haven't been working at all.  It just gives me the time to revamp and re-tool in order to continue full speed ahead.  With everything being slow, it means that I'm not losing out on a lot of business while I get ready for my next big push to help the public achieve their real estate dreams.  I watched the news tonight and they confirmed what I already know about our market...it's down.  But not for long, I feel it in my bones.  Times may be tough, … (5 comments)

I just think that once the mortgage companies get it together and Buyers feel more confident, everything will take off again.  It's all a part of what we do and see in our business.  It's a roller coaster ride...one day the Buyers are on top, next the Sellers...then there's a leveling off...and the cycle continues.  The market is never truly down, it just changes hands.  Now it's about to become an investors market. … (3 comments)

It's very interesting here in the Central Arkansas market.  Sure enough, for as long as the world turns there will be the need to buy and sell real estate.  Now comes the time - "Will the true Real Estate Professional please stand."  Anyway, it's fun to watch the attitudes and actions of Buyers and Sellers.  We're in a season now to where you really don't have a Buyer's or Seller's market...it's just a market.  Why do I say that?  Because with the way the real estate market is protrayed in the media, Buyers in the Central AR market tend to think that if … (5 comments)

Many people govern their lives by what they hear in the media.  People hear that the real estate market is taking a downward turn and they tend to think that it's across the board.  Well, heres a news flash - everything that you hear concerning the real estate market does not apply to EVERY area.  I'm thankful to know that I live in an area to where the market is pretty stable.  Of course a few years ago it was easy to be a real estate agent and sell houses because Buyers were coming out of the woodworks.  Now, the true … (6 comments)
