Las Vegas Real Estate Diva Renee Burrows and Tampa Real Estate Diva (none other than myself) Katrina Madewell, Met up on Tuesday after the Bankable Results Summit in Vegas for dinner. Did I mentions that my friend Minneapolis Real Estate Diva Crystal Brummer Joined us too?
We had dinner at the Salt Lick Bar B Que Restaurant in Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas.
Renee's addorable hubby of 20 years joined us, as well as some other By Referral Only Collegues that were attending the Summit. We had a Great Time!

Recently, I previewed a few homes for an out of town buyer buying a second home here in the Tampa Bay Area, I looked at about 3 homes in Covington Park, located in Apollo Beach, just 15 miles south of Tampa.

CNBC recently reported that Tampa has the #1 buyers market in the country right now!!
Investors have left the market and affordability is now back for Tampa buyers! The Job growth continues here in Tampa and our unemployment numbers are low. As this CNBC video states, our Employment remains strong and diverse, Housing inventory is high, and there are many new transfers into the City of Tampa.
They also remind us the difference between Market Value and Assessed or Appraised Value.

ABC News talks about Quantification in the market, what's going on, and getting "Clear on what's really going on right now"? Anyone really know? Again, most are looking for that "Bottom" and timing is everything!
I think that we are in for a bit of a cash crunch for most. Personally, I plan to liquidate stocks and move cash into real estate. The tough part is getting a decent lender approval, rate, and terms these days! Lenders are tightening up BIG TIME and making anything "out-of-the box" more difficult! Yesterday, you may have read the Article in the Tampa Tribune regarding foreclosures sweeping the nation in massive numbers! F.A.R. recently reported that a recent realty trac statistic showed that the Tampa Bay Area ranks 24th in the nation for foreclosure filings. It's said that one in every 79 households earlier this year have filed for foreclosure.
