What does the New Milwaukee Residential Rental Certificate Program mean to you? - 12/02/09 06:52 AM
Effective January 1,2010 city of Milwaukee passed an ordinance creating a residential rental certificate program for two designated areas of the city. The new ordinance will require landlords who own rentals in (the UWM area of the city's east side and the Lindsay Heights neighborhood on the city north side) to apply for a rental certificate in order to continue renting out rental units.When applying for the certificate the owner will need to pay $85 per unit fee and allow inspector from the city's Department of Neighborhood Services to inspect the interior of the unit.The Department of Neighborhood Services has created (0 comments)
