Banning CA: Redevelopment continues in Banning despite the economy - 02/27/09 12:45 AM
Construction continues on the new Banning Police Department.  For anyone that hadn't noticed, that new building next to City Hall is the new Police Department.  The Chamber of Commerce was in that location before relocating across the street.  This is just one of the projects that is either underway or planned on Ramsey, the main street.  A lot of Development and Re-Development going on, even in this tough economy.

Recently the new Rite Aid and Western Dental on 8th Street was completed, and there's a new hotel down by Sunset.  The building on the corner of Ramsey and San Gorgonio is still undergoing … (7 comments)

Active Rain is one of the best resources for California REALTORS-ask CAR - 02/26/09 03:45 PM
Everyone that knows me knows I'm basically honest, and wouldn't endorse anything I didn't believe in. I believe we should never blindly follow anyone, I don't care how important everyone else thinks they are. Personally I want to make sure that my choice fits my own needs, and those of my clients.  Well, today I am very happy with Active Rain, and especially a couple people that showed me the right way to use this great resource.

This morning I sent out a Group email to the members of SO CAL Pass Area Communities and other Interests thanking them for their participation … (23 comments)

Dear Diary- Why am I so Passionate about....cat food and education? - 02/21/09 06:22 PM
I have doodled out my thoughts for years, but I have never kept a Diary.  I have written in a couple Journals several years ago, but they weren't really Diaries, so bear with me if this seems to ramble.  Apparently I am to write about what I am passionate about, and as always for command writing I don't know what to write. So I have to think for awhile, and organize my thoughts. Well, I finally figured out that for this Contest, on What we're passionate about that I had to dig deep into my soul to pull out the core passions that have been the … (46 comments)

Technology: How to mess up your Blog and not even know it - 02/20/09 02:12 AM
Those Beautiful Blogs that we spend so much time on are really nice when they work. I don't know about you, but after I got my beautiful blog I wanted to write things, put pictures on there, and let everyone know they could come visit me.  Isn't that what we do?  So what went wrong?
What went wrong is a little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing.  Always has been, look at  some of our clients that purport to know how to sell Real Estate cuz they read a book, or watched a show on TV.  Well, that's exactly what happened … (23 comments)

Facebook: Why doesn't it feel good to be right? - 02/16/09 10:01 PM
I am sure everyone that has been on Twitter for the past 2 days has heard about Facebook and how they have changed their terms of service, and what this means to you.  And it's not good!  In the middle of December I wrote a Featured Post that effectively tried to warn everyone to read these Terms and be careful.  This is that Post Marketing Technology: What is all that fun costing you on Facebook?
Here's an excerpt from that Post, although if you haven't read it you might want to.
These 3rd Party sites are all the fun things that … (39 comments)

Friendships International and on Active Rain.....I write you vote :) - 02/14/09 08:55 PM
On-line Relationships are what Blogging is all about.  We hope when we write that we are instilling something useful, and at the same time we are building Relationships.  Well, I have learned that Real Estate Agents, as a Profession don't necessarily have the best reputation.  So how is anyone to know WHO we are?  Who is the Real Estate Agent behind the listings, sales, Market Reports, and all the things we do.

Friendships made through Writing
Writing is one way to build Friendships, and awhile back I wrote about someone I met on Twitter, who gave tutorials on the … (18 comments)

Foreclosures can be the worst buy for your money..... - 02/07/09 10:05 PM
Foreclosures seem to be the "must have" of this Real Estate Market.  Some Franchises are touting "FREE FORECLOSURE Lists", while others are offering tours.  Is it any wonder that the Foreclosures are being looked at as the best deals on the Market?  But are they really........

One of the main reasons I hear for people wanting to concentrate on Foreclosures are they think they are the best value, the cheapest homes on the Market.  But many times they are cheaper for a reason.  Banks don't have to give you a Disclosure like a regular seller does, and Banks are … (29 comments)

Sprint Cell Phone Users: Did you know? - 02/04/09 11:15 PM
Do you have Sprint as your Cell Phone Carrier?  I do, and like everyone I am trying to figure out how to save a dollar.  So a couple months ago I changed my service, and got rid of all the extras.  Anyway to make a long story short, this month I got my bill, and for the first time ever I had a charge for being over my minutes.  First time ever in the 9 years I have been a Sprint Customer!

Anyway, I wasn't a happy camper, and decided to put the Nights and Week-ends at 6 back … (28 comments)

A wee little pick me up.....Not Real Estate Related at all :) - 02/01/09 02:27 PM
Morning, or Afternoon, whatever the case may be I just wanted to share a wee little pick me up for you. No it's not alcoholic.  Today many people will be watching football, not all of us, but a very large number.  Anyway I was talking to (actually emailing) one of my Active Rain Buddies, Ann Cummings in New Hampshire who was stuck doing some rather boring contact management stuff (her words not mine).
As I was trying to update several different things I have going online.....we were emailing back and forth on a couple things, including a tech problem on another … (22 comments)
