Reports this week showed that retail sales grew for the 3rd consecutive month as consumersare starting to spend again.  If you’ll remember, I’ve mentioned in this column before that the US Economy will turn when WE, the consumer, open our wallets and let the moths out! Also, good earnings reports came in for both financials and transports.  Add to this the fact that the core Producer Price Index marked its highest increase since September of '09 and you'd think the economy is off to the races…This good news caused rates to inch up….. Loveland Ski Area is frantically making snow.  Loveland seems to be leading the race to open for the 2010-2011 season with A-Basin Ski Area working to produce more of the white stuff faster and longer than Loveland.  I just got off the phone (October 18th at 1:52pm) with A-Basin Ski Area and they don't think Loveland is ahead of the Race and are hoping for natural snow at A-Basin tonight! I have had to gain access to several properties by force and had done so with the help of our Sheriff's department.  What I do is get a notarized letter from the seller stating I have permission to gain access to the property by force is necessary, not to exceed damages up to $100,00 dollars.  I also have a copy of the listing agreement with me as well as have the seller available to speak to the Sheriff's department if further verification is needed by the officer on duty. Quick survey.  What would you pay to have a photo of your listing taken and emailed to you?  Hiring a professional photographer to take photos of a bank owned listing isn't practical.  In my opionion, a MLS listing without a photo gets passed by 8 out of 10 times.
I even get phone calls from my buyers requesting I don't send them listings without photos.......
