Every month the Stapleton Citizen's Advisory Board(CAB) meet's to discuss the build out of the Stapleton Community. This is an all inclusive committee that has representatives of several smaller committees and stake holders that are active in and around Stapleton. This board reports to the Stapleton Development Corporation(SDC). I break down the hierarchy in a blog called Alphabet Soup, but thought I should give an update from this morning's meeting. Motivational Monday! Watch Apollo 13 to start your week. I am already doing this blogging 31 day challenge in December. But today was going to be a super cold(high of 8 degrees) snowy, Monday. I could use a little extra motivation. I turned on the last half of the movie Apollo 13 this morning. It gave me a little perspective, made me appreciate teamwork, trust in others, never give up, what the power of positive thinking can do and that sometimes making a joke in a serious time can be the right answer. Today is national bike to work day and what could be a better fit than being an active Realtor in Stapleton, one of the best biking communities in the country. Today the StapletonHomeTeam will bike to our new listing to get it on the market, go get keys made, meet a buyer, and go to see a builder, just to name a few things. 30% of Stapleton is parks and open space all of which are connected by bike paths. Real Estate Blog! 50,000 points later, what it has done for my business! Yippee! This morning I opened up my Active Rain account and realized I was less than 100 points away from hitting 50,000. First of all I didn't want to get past that barrier simply by logging on tomorrow, so I wanted to write a blog to get over it today. It also made me reflect on what writing this Real estate blog has done for my Real Estate business in the last 15 months since I "joined the party".
