For those of you who live in Prince William, Fairfax, Stafford, area...if you have not been to Leesylvania Park...you are missing out.  I was in the area meeting with a client and decided to check out the surrounding area. A short distance, from the neighborhood I was in, was Leesylvania Park.. I get a call from this homeowner...he is desperate..he has his house on the market, it has been on for over 400 days....I am always careful, when I talk to sellers who are frustrated with the market, to make sure I look at everything...with regard to their listing....to determine if everything had been done to sell the property, by the previous agent.  This was a not brainer...this home was in the market with 9 other foreclosure/bank owned properties, and it looked like a foreclosure property (from an MLS perspective) NO PICTURES, NO VIRTUAL TOUR....NADDA. Okay...so not all Sellers are desperate...! - 11/10/07 12:40 PM
God love Buyers and or Renters in this market...but not all sellers are desperate.  How do you explain that though...?  Yes, their homes have been sitting on the  market, yes, there is a surplus number of homes for sale and rent on the market, and yes, many of these resale homes are competing with much cheaper foreclosure home....BUT, that does not mean sellers will accept just any old offer.  I am not even sure who I am addressing this to...I have been on the other end, as an agent,  and you have a buyer who wants to put in a "low ball" crazy … (1 comments)
