President Obama Brokers Climate "Accord" - 12/19/09 08:32 AM
President Obama has just returned from the U.N. Climate Conference in Copenhagen. He is taking credit for broking a "accord" with China to reduce carbon emissions. Now if this deal had some checks or accountability, this would be a real coup, since China has some of the most polluted cities in the world.
But this "accord" is non - binding. Does that mean they had their fingers crossed on their left hand as they shook on the agreement with their right? I agree, but you can't hold me to it? Huh?

Don't Wait Until You Need Your Credit Report to Pull it - 12/05/09 05:31 PM
Today I had a client call me to refinance his home. He had been watching interest rates over the last 6 months and finally decided that rates were going to be moving up  , so it was time to quit prograstinating. I take all his personal information to pull a credit bureau and verify that I can lock him in at the best price rate I can get.
Surprise when I pull his bureau, he has a $251 collection on his report that turns out is a mistake.Changes the rate I can offer by a 1/2% because of the lower FICO … (2 comments)

Historic Low Mortgage Rates, Today is the beginning of the End! - 12/04/09 12:44 PM
Jobs report came in much better than expected. The unemployment rate dropped for the first time in almost 2 years, form 10.2% down to 10%.Factory orders were stronger than expected.
 Do not wait for rates to improve. It isn't going to happen. This is the beginning of what should be a steady increase over a very long time.
 As the Employment picture improves & Wall Street rebounds through the end of the year, rates will continue to rise. In my opinion the largest rate increases will begin towards the end of February.That is when the Fed. will have either exhausted their allotted $1.25 Trillion … (5 comments)
