watering ban: METRO ATLANTA WATER USE RESTRICTIONS - 06/01/07 11:26 AM
It's hot and it's dry and our yards in particular are begging for a nice little shower. If you don't want to pay $250 or more in fines, then leave the hose where it is because the Georgia Department of Natural Resources has elevated the outdoor water use restrictions in Metro Atlanta to Level 2. Restrictions include: No outdoor water use between 10 a.m. and midnight daily. Even-numbered, or unnumbered addresses may water only on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Odd-numbered addresses may water only on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. No washing of hard surfaces (sidewalks, driveways, curbs, etc. unless a public health issue).
