According to an article in RIS Mediahousing affordability continues to be near highest level in 18 Years. Good News for Sellers and the Ashland & Medford Oregon real estate market. Sales are up for the last six months (jan 2009-Jun 2009) compared to the same 6 months in 2008.

Home sales are up in Ashland Oregon and Medford Oregon area. The last 3 months posted more sales in 2009 compared to the same time period in 2008. Although, the median price has not increased, inventory is down. The $8000 first time home buyer credit is working to increase sales activity. (0 comments)

Good news! Sales are up in the Rogue Valley- almost 30% from the same time last year. The number of homes available to buy is down 26%. A few builders are getting courageous and are building spec homes. Median house price is down, but partly because the lower end of the (1 comments)
