I recently co-presented a class on short sales at a WCR sponsored event.  My stats on short sales are:
one, didn't close in 1994 in CA,
Three, closed in  2001 to 2003 in oregon
Two, closed in 2007, one went to foreclosure

As bad as the media says the housing market is...Only 6 homes in Ashland, Oregon are in foreclosure.  How many of these will actually go the county steps for a final sale?  My guess is maybe one.  So things are really not as bad as the media says.  It also helps … (7 comments)
