It's too Hot to be Cute!!! - 08/31/11 09:02 PM
It's too Hot to be Cute!!! It's too hot to be cute but I'm still working and guess what I've noticed? Not too many other agents are out showing homes or holding Open Houses. Although I will confess it may not be the best idea to host an Open House in this type of heat if you have not tested the air conditioner system to make sure it will keep the home comfortable during the event. (It's not a strong selling point to invite clients into a sweltering home.) Suggestion: if you are determined to hold an Open House why not (8 comments)
Are You a People Pleaser? - 08/28/11 05:48 PM
Are you a people pleaser? I am (often to my own dismay.) I have always disliked confrontation and often pretty up my words in order not to offend people. I have been described as "politically correct" and "a diplomat" for most of my life. This is why I love being a Realtor! It has freed me from my inability to be blunt and truthful (I have discovered my financial well being may well depend upon my honesty.) No more mincing of words. In order to successfully run this business I have learned some valuable business lessons which have translated into life (8 comments)
Riverside Vendor Appreciation - Thank You - 08/27/11 04:45 PM
Riverside Vendor Appreciation - Thank You I have been mulling over a way to show my appreciation for the assistance I have been given in my real estate career. I have worked with vendors who have gone above and beyond the call of duty in an effort to help me provide fantastic customer service to Riverside home buyers and sellers. I would like to thank a few of them. Surinder and Narinder of Postal Annex Perris Crossing 3150 Case Road Perris, CA 92570 951-928-2800
I first met the Madahars while printing a flyer for a new listing. Naturally Surinder asked (2 comments)
Dear John Letter (or in this case Dear Kristal) - 08/25/11 06:35 PM
Dear John Letter (or in this case Dear Kristal) Well it happened earlier this week. I received the Dear John Letter from one of my clients. We thank you for your help blah, blah, blah... but we have purchased another home. The clients decided their interests were best served by submitting the offer through the Listing Agent. During our initial buyer consultation we discussed the various strategies we would utilize in pursuing their dreams of home-ownership. Our market has more than 50% short sale transactions; often very desirable properties in good neighborhoods but they are lengthy transactions with no guarantees promised. (9 comments)
Mr. Listing Agent You Are Not Inspiring Confidence in Mrs. Buyer, much less a warm and fuzzy feeling. I realize this is my responsibility but you are making my job extremely difficult! To the contrary your actions are adding additional stress to an already hugely stressful event. Mr/Mrs. Buyer, whom I represent, have committed to purchase a short sale transaction which was not a decision made lightly. We researched, analyzed and discussed the possible ramifications but the buyers want this home and are willing to take the gamble. Issue # One So imagine my dismay when the day after receiving (7 comments)
Perris Animal Hospital 257 E 4th Street Perris, Ca 92570 951-657-3139
An unassuming storefront on a busy street is the home for a caring & humane facility; the Perris Animal Hospital. Many pet owners are familiar with this small community hospital which has been in the same location for more than twenty years. The hospital specializes in quality care, in-house lab work, dentistry and nutrition. "Compassionate, surgical care for your pet." Vet.SurgicalSpecialist. Riverside's Best Little Donut Shop & The Best Croissants - 08/16/11 04:16 PM
Riverside's Best Little Donut Shop & The Best Croissants Riverside's Woodcrest Donuts has the best Ham'n'Cheese croissants in Riverside. The prices are pretty reasonable for a taste of this wonderful treat. The flaky pastry surrounds the ham and cheese which when heated melts in your mouth. The croissant, which has a slightly sweet taste (reminds me of vanilla) contrasted with the slight saltiness of the ham and the warm buttery pastry, is delicious. Of course Tiffany's smiling face is always a welcome sight. I have visited this shop for more than 10 years and love it. Stop by and visit: Riverside's (4 comments)
Riverside New Home Community - Cielo at Lake Hills Reseve Soaring mountain views, panoramic city views and the azure blue waters of Lake Mathews, are natural features found in the Riverside new home community Cielo by Richmond American Homes. The community is nestled amidst rolling hills providing easy access to the 91and 15 freeways; portals to Orange county and Los Angeles. The city of Riverside presents an interesting dichotomy - the peacefulness of rural living combined with the sophistication of city offerings. Buyers Taking a Second Look at New Home Communities - 08/12/11 07:37 PM
Buyers taking a Second Look at New Home Communities In an attempt to find the home of their dreams buyers are beginning to give new home communities a second and even third look. New Home communities are beginning to look much more attractive as competition for REO's continues unabated and current inventory is becoming stale. In response to the declining availability of prime properties Builders are attracting buyers by offering enticing incentives. Today New Homes are competing with the REO's and Short Sales. Frequently REO properties in desirable communities are newer homes, built from in 2004 and forward; possessing upgrades such as granite (7 comments)

In light of the budget restrictions facing the school districts parents maybe interested in attending the Riverside Unified School District Board of Education Meetings or by downloading the taped video at www.rusdvideo.org. As Tom Torlakson, Superintendent of Public Instruction, stated we are in the midst of a "financial emergency for California Public Schools." In view of the $44 million cut from the General Fund by RUSD circumstances are critical. The meetings occur on the first and third Monday of every month. Real Estate is Universal....traveling across cultural boundaries - 08/05/11 06:49 PM
Real Estate is Universal...traveling across cultural boundaries. The need for a home lives within the heart of us all. The desire to create your own home, traditions, and memories is universal. Several months ago while holding an Open House I had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful family. With smiles and shared enjoyment we connected while I was giving them a tour of the home even though neither parent spoke English. I primarily spoke with the adult children but shared smiles and hand signals with their parents. I completed my follow-up and remained in touch with the family through the daughter. (9 comments)
