Sales and Refinances are picking up in Medford and Ashland Oregon - 01/19/09 04:03 PM
Thank you lenders and/or the government for lowering the interest rates.  In the last few weeks, i have noticed a huge increase in appraisers calling me for sales information.  Yeah.  I also had a buyer finally get into contract and a listing finally get an offer.  These may seem like small things, but coupled all together, I see movement. 
I have talked to my Realtor, appraiser, and lender friends who all say the same thing, too.  More calls, a few refi's, etc.  Big change from about a month ago when the only thing happening was foreclosure sales.Also I hear about more and … (1 comments)

Ashland & Medford Oregon Real Estate Sales Statistics - 01/10/09 03:17 PM
Not Bad news, maybe even Good news.....
Existing homes sales for the rolling Oct 1, 2008 to Dec 31, 2008 quarter shows another quarter with a stable number of sales for Jackson County.  This makes the third quarter of this year and last year almost comparable due to the number of sales.
Good news!
Inventory is down from 2263 last year to 1877 this year (about 17%).
Not so Good news for seller, but Good news for buyers.....
Median price is down from $230,000 to $200,000.
Buyers?  Better get out there and buy now!

Dragonfly in Ashland, Oregon has Great Drinks - 01/10/09 03:08 PM
In case you never have been to the Dragonfly in Ashland, I want to let you know one reason to go....
They have really good drinks, especially their Damiana Margarita.  Of course, the food is good and all of their other drinks, but if you like margaritas, you must try it.

Drink on! Tasty martinis in Medford, Oregon - 01/05/09 03:24 PM
A couple of friends and I went hiking up Prescott Park on Saturday, followed up with the movie Yes Men, and then finished up with a drink at Elements.

The martini at elements was not only tasty, but a work of art.  Each drink had an orchid floating on top. Check out these pictures my friend Irina took....before they were all gone.
