While reading The Showcase USA Austin Edition, I came across this article that really puts the increase in foreclosure rates in perspective. While headlines constantly state foreclosures are up, they never include one simple little detail. The foreclosure rate has gone from 1% of all homeowners with mortgages to 2% and these foreclosures are principally driven by subprime loans. Please see the article below for more information. Do you know of any great investment groups in Austin?....and I'm not talking about the people who just want to sell you their books and tapes.
