I live in Lakeway and drive 45 minutes to get to Georgetown to go to church because yes, it is just that amazing!!  Celebration church is located off of Westinghouse Rd. near the Round Rock Outlets.  With several service times and two locations, Georgetown and Cedar Park, there is a convenient time for everyone. They have a great kids ministry program.  I love this church because it is constantly growing and changing.  It feels alive and full of energy.  Every time I attend I leave with the peace and reminder of what is most important in my hectic and busy life.  They … (0 comments)

Zingers Bar & Grill is located in The Hill Country Galleria next to Dick's Sporting Goods.  This is a great place to watch the Rangers game today with indoor and outdoor seating.  There are so many flat screen tv's that you will never miss a game from any seat in the house.  The food is great with dishes such as parmesan tilapia and shrimp scampi....this isn't your typical bar food!  My favorites are the ahi tuna and zmac.  They have wii games for the kids.  They open daily at 11 am.  For more information check out zingersbar.com.

Austin Area Foreclosure Posts Drop-Just Another Reason to BUY real estate in Austin, Texas
Austin's real estate market has remained strong through tough economic times.  Foreclosure postings for November's auction are down 13% from a year ago and 6% from October.  Experts are waiting to see December's numbers to determine if the drop is related to the Attorney General's demand letter.  However, most of the postings were already in the pipeline before this demand letter came out.  Austin has seen an increase in the average sales price from last year.

Casa de Luz is a fabulous hidden restaurant located off of Toomey Rd. near Barton Springs.  There are several large tables where multiple parties join each other for breakfast, lunch or dinner.  It is very pretty at dinner time as you walk down a pathway covered in lights to the restaurant where you enter and pay for your dinner.  Then you find a place to sit, then get salad, soup and a plate of food.  It is a very cozy, friendly environment...the epitome of Austin.  You can even volunteer to cook dinner where you learn to make yummy, healthy food and get … (1 comments)

Uchi is by far the best sushi restaurant in Austin if not in the world.  It is absolutely amazing.  The fish is fresh.  The atmosphere is great and very Austin located in a small house on south Lamar.  You can come dressed up or dressed down.  No one cares.  It's all about the food and having a great time.  You won't find the same old boring rolls here.  Every item on the menu is a true artistic creation.  I love this restaurant because you aren't just going to another chain....it is truly a gem.
