I recently listened to a webinar where a top agent was being interviewed. The agent said, "It's pretty sad when you can't tell the client from the agent." We are independent contractors, and it's nice that we have the flexibilty to be our own boss. However, just because you can wear whatever you want to work doesn't mean you should. We are handling most people's largest investment and need to dress the part. I find it pretty sad when an agent has a million dollar property listed and doesn't even have a virtual tour. Fed's QE2 Policy Designed to Create Inflation Pushing Mortgage Rates Higher The Fannie Mae 30 year fixed mortgage bond is currently down 50 basis points and we have already worsened points by 1/8th once today. A 50 basis point shift typically moves rates by more than an 1/8th in points so another re-post worse could be forthcoming. Why the rise in rates?
