Wear Socks While Househunting! - 03/29/10 08:43 PM
I couldn't have said this better myself! Socks are a must, and slip-on shoes (or at least shoes without oodles of laces) are very helpful when house hunting!

Fashion advice on a real estate blog?  Sure... why not?
Some may see this as fashion, but I see it as practicality and comfort.  To be honest, it doesn't matter to me whether you show up for the home search in a three-piece suit, a leather mini-skirt, plaids clashing with polka dots, or sweatpants.  I just want you to be comfortable and happy … (0 comments)

Fantastic tips from Richard Vetstein, a real estate attorney in Massachusetts.

Keeping Sellers In the Loop? Priceless. - 03/27/10 05:41 PM
It's amazing to me how many sellers I speak with who have had bad experiences with real estate agents in the past. Great advice from a real estate agent in Oregon. The same goes for buyers in Rochester. Having a knowledgeable team working for you really does make a difference!
Via Carla Muss-Jacobs, ABR, CEBA, e-PRO, Realtor (Principal Broker/Owner EBA Portland, LLC):
When I meet with a potential client, I can spend over an hour in a consultation -- detailing the current, local market, explaining the buying process, how my real estate practice is set up, etc.
During the conversation, I tell people that there are three key elements that make a transaction go smoothly:
1.  Having a knowledgable, effective real estate agent working for … (5 comments)

Adorable New Listing in Irondequoit! Just a Stone's Throw from Durand Eastman Park! - 03/16/10 08:09 PM
I'm afraid to say I've been very lax in my blogging over the past couple of weeks. When I arrived home from Orlando (or, more accurately, while I was there), my business exploded! There's no doubt in my mind that the Spring market in Rochester is now going full force!
With that said, I want to share some tidbits about a fantastic home my partner and I listed yesterday in East Irondequoit. Rochesterians, have you ever driven down Lakeshore Boulevard into Durand Eastman Park and noticed the adorable houses on the right, on the street running parallel to the park? Take a closer … (0 comments)
