Safety Warning- Carbon Monoxide - 12/30/08 05:39 PM
I received an e-mail today from a Realtor in my office who has her own house listed for sale. She was doing a pre-inspection to make the home a certified pre-owned home  when she discovered high levels of carbon monoxide in her BEDROOM near the gas fireplace that she only used a couple of times for a short period.
She was told that if she had used this fireplace for longer periods, she would probably not be around to tell us all about it.

Designations- what do you think?? - 12/27/08 02:12 PM
I keep signing up to begin work on my GRI and then get busy with clients and have to quit for awhile. I have talked to different agents that have designations (some have so many they go off the page!) and say that it has really been a benefit to them.
I am all for education and love to learn as much as I can in the industry.
I read that agents with a GRI make $42,000 more a year in their first year after receiving the designation. I think that may be because they have invested the time, learned and … (14 comments)

OK-Here I go. This is my first blog. I have read some amazing and entertaining blogs throughout the AR site. I will be jumping in with both feet. I am still figuring out the site and how everything works, but isn't technology amazing?!!  I try to explain to my kids what life was like when I was in school and we didn't even have computers in our classroom! They can't even imagine. I don't think they even know what a typewriter is! I am excited to begin this venture!
