OK, many of my clients have been harassing me to update my photo. They are right, it has been too long. I just don't take photos of myself...I am the person always taking shots of everyone else, but I hate being in them! Last Saturday, nationwide rallies at 22 Petland stores were held. Most people are terribly disappointed that Petland continues to try to hide behind false claims. HSUS's eight-month investigation exposed the chain as the nation’s largest retail supporter of puppy mills. Where does your state fall in foreclosures? - 01/20/09 08:50 PM

According to the Federal Reserve Board, Wisconsin compares favorably to many parts of the nation regarding foreclosures. Our state has fewer subprime loans; 15.2% subprime loans per 1000 units, compared to 23.4% nationally. Of these subprime loans, only 14.1% are in foreclosure. Only .8% per 1000 units in Wisconsin are REO/bank owned properties, compared to 2.5% per 1000 units nationally.

Wisconsin also has fewer foreclosures than many of our neighboring states. One in every 1341 units in Wisconsin is in foreclosure, a ratio of 1/1341, compared to the following:
-Michigan: 1/396
-Illinois: 1/410
-Minnesota: 1/858
-Iowa: 1/2640

I am having major computer issues all day today, and need some help from my technical AR people!!
Today I was unable to access MLS, my online banking, google, etc. I was told I needed to get rid of my temporary internet files, delete my cookies, close my browser (IE 7), etc. When I tried to do this thru Tools, I got the following error "Restrictions, this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. please contact your system administrator." Milwaukee, Wisconsin's Home Prices Still Rising! - 01/12/09 03:47 PM

According to Radar Logic Inc.'s newly released October 2008 RPX Monthly Housing Market Report, home prices and sales volumes decreased more in October 2008 than in any other October since the firm started tracking such data in January 2000. However, for the fourth consecutive month, Milwaukee placed at the top of the 25-MSA (Metropolitan Statistical Area) ranking. Home prices in Milwaukee were 5.3 percent higher than a year earlier, making Milwaukee the only MSA tracked by Radar Logic researchers to record a year-over-year price appreciation for the month. I thought I should share more photos of my other two fur babies, since my orange tabby, Simba, has become quite the celebrity from some of my other posts! Paris is my female gray tabby with buff, and Maxwell is my older brown tabby man! I love them all so much! Paris and Max, like most cats, enjoy laying in warm sun beams. Wonderful Animal Shelter in Waukesha, WI!!! - 01/05/09 11:15 AM

Millions of shelter animals are euthanized because they never found their forever home. Too many of these animals are dying because many more people are buying from breeders because they think they would find their 'perfect pet' there instead of in shelters. These shelter animals may have had a bad past, but they have so much love to give, if only given the chance! Shelters have volunteers that take their dogs out for walks, socialize the cats, interact with the small animals, but it isn't enough. They need a loving home.

HAPPY NEW YEAR...DID YOU MAKE IT TO MIDNIGHT??? - 01/01/09 09:24 AM

I am PROUD to say, that last night for New Years Eve, I was able to stay awake until 12:10am!! Yee haw! How about you? I pushed myself to make it to the stroke of midnight, since I fell asleep early the last couple years! Must be all the junk food and champagne, right?
