I recently found these great, simple and quick steps to remove those pesky deodorant stains. Hope it helps you the next time you face this dilemma:
1. With one hand, stretch the deodorant-stained part of the fabric taut--this can be done while you are still wearing the garment, if possible and necessary.
2. Holding a dryer sheet or a balled up pair of clean, dry nylon pantyhose in your other hand, rub the markes briskly in a circular motion to loosen the dry particles--do not wet the stain or it may streak.

I am almost embarrassed to admit that I usually just toss my soiled shower curtain plastic liner, and buy a new one whenever I need to. But, I recently read about a better option...one I will do from now on.
Rid your plastic or fabric curtains and liners of mildew and soap scum by simply tossing them into the washing machine. Begin a regular cold cycle, adding a cup of the detergent and a cup of vinegar. Once the machine is filled with water, shut it off and let soak for 2 hours. Then resume the cycle for stain-free results!

Many folks want to know the best way to make flowers last longer. Flowers need clean water to keep the stems healthy and blooms lasting. For the best results, cut stems with a sharp knife by 1/2 inch and change the water daily. I also have heard that you should cut the stems under running water and at an angle, but I am not sure if this really is true/necessary.

I read recently that Sonic has adopted an animal welfare policy for its restaurants, which will phase in cage free egg use, as well as pork from facilities that do not confine breeding pigs to gestation crates.
Other national restaurant chains that have also adopted this policy:
Burger King, Wendys, Red Robin, Quiznos, Dennys, Hardees and Carls Jr.
I just wanted to bring positive attention to these Food Chains for doing the right thing! Good for you and Good for the Animals!!:-)

Men and Women Sure Have Different Humor! - 03/04/10 09:05 AM
The other day, my husband and I rented the movie "The Hangover." I will admit, I thought it sounded stupid, and all the women I spoke to agreed. My hubby on the other hand, heard only good things about it and insisted it would be funny.
Well, after a few minutes into the movie, I looked over at him and he is grinning from ear to ear and chuckling like he hasn't heard of anything funnier. I was dumb founded. I don't even think I laughed once during the movie..maybe once??? Worse yet, I can't recall any funny moments.
