Here are some useful Food Storage Tips:1. When you buy dried herbs and spices, write the date on each container. They lose their flavor over time, so toss them after 6 months.
2. Instead of grouping ingredients by packaging (canned foods together, boxes together, etc), organize your pantry by frequency of use. Store the goods you use every time you cook at eye level; place less common ingredients higher up.
3. Store onions and potatoes in your pantry but away from each other. Each causes the other to spoil quicker.
