A friend forwarded me an interesting article about Testing Your Green IQ. I will share some questions with you:
 
1. Running the dishwasher uses less water than hand-washing your dishes. TRUE! A German study found that people who washed by hand used an average of 27 gallons of water to clean 12 place settings. Compare that with a standard size Energy Star rated dishwasher, which consumes less than 5.8 gallons in a normal wash, and the results are clear.
