Sorry for the "cheesy" Monday blog, with little or no content. But, please let me explain...I am on my 3rd day of manual labor doing a re roof on my home. My body is shot, blisters beyond belief, back aches, dirty everywhere and the tar from the shingles won't come off my body, etc etc etc. But, we saved a bunch of dough and we are happy 'do it your selfer' kind of people. So, sorry if I don't respond to your comments in my usual manner...hopefully this is the last day of my assistance on the roof!!!

I read an article last week in THE REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONAL magazine, May/June 2009 issue.
Apparently, Candy Spelling, widow of entertainment icon Aaron Spelling and mother to Tori, admits she used her dog to select her real estate agent! She is selling her husband's mansion for $150 million. I know, I know, wouldn't we all like that listing???
To choose her agent, Candy allowed the dog to sniff each Realtor candidate. If the dog reacted badly, the agent was dismissed.

If you are looking for a great place to adopt your next fur baby, please consider HAWS (Humane Animal Welfare Society) in Waukesha WI. They have a wonderful site, so take a look and bring home your new best friend.
I have been volunteering there for over 3 years, and have gotten all 4 of my pets there. Currently, the shelter is breaking ground on a well needed expansion project for the animals. It is exciting!

Last night I was watching a movie with my husband. I couldn't quite place where I had seen one of the actors. It was bothering me throughout the entire movie. I called my sister, who had seen the movie already, and asked her. She said, "Why don't you try IMDB?" I had no idea what she was talking about. IMDB stands for the Internet Movie Data Base.
I found the website, and I also found my answer. If you ever find yourself in this situation, this website is a wealth of information! It is great! Enjoy!
