Some of the first time home buyers that I am working with are taking advantage of the Rural Housing Program. I found this helpful resource to help determine if a home they are interested in will qualify, before we research it further. The other day, as I was creating a blog post, I saw that my list of groups on Active Rain was expanding quite a bit. I wondered if it was time to reevaluate my participation in each group. I heard someone say this the other day on TV, "Being Frugal Is In!". It made me think about how I have made some conscious decisions to save a penny here and there. Although I have always tried to be smart when it comes to money, I think I have especially focused on tightening the belt a bit more lately due to the hard economic times.
