Honestly, I should title these "What I learned in Real Estate LAST WEEK" because when I sit down to write them it's a big brain purge of stuff I learned the week before.  You say tomato, I say tomato.......

When dealing with short sales (yes, again!) if you explain yourself UP FRONT with details like "You must be patient, your buyers must be patient" to a buyers agent who might not have experience with a SS can save you some grief in the long run. Success in the rain! My first AR check for 2012!
I just deposited my first AR check of 2012 & boy did that feel groovy! This one came by way of David Gibson who is licensed in both Colorado & Texas! That man is multi-talented for sure!
Anyway, David sent me some great clients who were transferring from Houston to San Antonio.  They were a dream! Fun, sweet & ready to find their new home in their new city! AND that we did!

Spring MeetUp TIME in San Antonio! AR style!
Kerrie Greenhalgh calls it the "Spring Meetup", I call it "PRE-FIESTA AR get together!" You have two hostessesssss this time, My sister (Sheila Moran) and me!
I went to my friend google & did a search for "Margarita's & awesome patio's" because that's what this group LOVES & we picked the most amazing spot for the Alamo city to have an AR get together at!

What you put into it you don't always get out of it~
The above statement is true of a ton of things.  Your job, relationships with others, education, blogging, the stock market, hunting, conversations, shopping.  I really could go on and on.  Seriously. 
What some folks don't understand & need to are home improvements.  If you put in a new pool or a completely re-done garage, kitchen, flooring, deck, paint, faucets, appliances, railing, light fixtures, etc. etc. etc. etc  You can't expect to be traded dollar for dollar what you paid for that item when you go to sell your home.  This … (34 comments)
