Just in time for Christmas 2008 CATS is coming to San Antonio, Texas. Tickets went on sale today at San Antonio's very own National Historic Landmark, the Majestic theatre box office (or 210-224-9600). The show runs December 23 - 28 and is an award-winning musical composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber. I personally love the names they came up with for the furry, feline friends in CATS, from Deuteronomy to Gus (short for Asparagus) they are creative, talented & fun. I believe Davy Crockett said it best in 1836 with "You may all go to Hell and I will go to Texas" Sounds like Forbes.com is agreeing with the American Frontiersman. Smart move. Reported recently if you want more "bang for your buck", head to Texas. San Antonio was number ONE (along with Austin) on Forbes.com's top cities to be in to ride out the nation's financial storm. Also recommended were Dallas & Houston. Forbes noted that Texas continues to do well. It's all a huge thanks to energy, technology and growth manufacturing. Obviously, a winning combination.
