I will start this blog with giving thanks to the many Bloggers who post such useful information. This is my second blog and I have much more to learn I can read and understand the reason for this site and that's to help and learn from each other. I thought I would let readers know about the NW Florida are and how we are Coming Back Strong.

There are two major developments taking place in the NW Florida area. One of which is the International Airport in Panama City, FL. and the other is Country Crossings in Dothan, Alabama. Some of you may be familiar with Country Crossings but for those who aren't let me enlighten you. Country Crossings is a proposed entertainment development similar to Branson, MO..That could include multiple country music-themed entertainment venues, RV Resorts, Themed Restaurants, possibly a Theme Park, and so many extras. This development will change many things and one important fact is that it will bring jobs - and lots of them - An Official economic impact study states the project could directly create 1,866 jobs in the first year of operation, with another year 1,121 jobs created indirectly. First year revenue of $136,904,562 with an annual payroll of $74,511,625. By year 10, projections call for total revenue of $871,779,250 and about 4,800 jobs created. This will be a development that not only the youth enjoy but seniors as well. If you are considering moving to the area to enjoy the many benefits our area has to offer I hope that you will take time to search the many cities in Jackson County Florida such as Graceville, Campbelton, Malone, Bascom, Marianna, and so on. You could have your cake and eat it to by enjoying the small quiet communities in Jackson County while at the same time enjoying the Dothan, AL area for all your shopping needs. I am so excited for our community and all that it will offer the citizens.

The International Airport in Panama City, Florida is way ahead of schedule and this will also play a prominent role in bringing more opportunities to the NW Florida area. Please remember that our area is moving fast and unfortunately the buyer's market won't last forever so start spreading the word.
