You Go Girl! According to a survey by the National Association of Realtors (NAR), single women are buying homes in masses. In 2009, first-time home buyers made up 47% of the total home buying market share, up from 41% in 2008. Of these first-time home buyers, single women purchased homes at double the rate of single men, outpaced only by married couples. 2009 First-Time Home Buyer Demographics Married Couples = 49% Single Women = 25% Single Men = 12% Unmarried Couples = 12% Single women also lead the charge over single men for repeat home buyers in 2009. 2009 Repeat Home (5 comments)

Buy a Fannie Mae bank owned Home in Bend and receive 3.5% of your purchase price towards closing costs. Although the First Time Home Buyer and Repeat Buyer tax credit have expired, it's not too late to find a great deal on a Bank Owned Home in Bend. Back in February Fannie Mae began providing a 3.5% discount to buyers to are purchasing a home as their primary residence.
