torrance home sales: Torrance Home Sales Report for December 2011 - 01/19/12 02:33 PM

Torrance CA Home Sales Update The Torrance average home selling price was down by 1% in December '11 when compared to same period a year ago.The average home selling price was $542,963 in Torrance (Torrance proper only - Torrance PO not included) By comparison, average selling price in Torrance was $512,557 in November, $526,543 in October and it was $499,705 in September. This data indicates an upward price trend over last few months.
Number of sales was down by 3% after a huge over 40% spike in November.

DQ News.com - the San Diego based real estate news and custom data service reported what we the Realtors have already noticed in the South Bay area market in the last few months - "Southland home sales and prices have been going up".
The So California real estate market, including Torrance housing market continued its step-by-step climb up from the January-February bottom as both sales and prices saw gains last November.
