It’s raining hard and arghhh … you have a water in your basement !!!  You think to yourself “What would Mike Holmes do?”  Well, you could try to find and seal cracks in the basement walls by digging around your basement or by removing drywall and insulation.  The worst part about doing this is not the cost or hassle but the realization that, in most cases, it will not solve the real problem.
