Last season I actually counseled a couple to lease instead of buy. They were not sure if this was the area for them. They did not know if they would like the neighborhood or the golf course. So I encouraged them to lease for a few months to discover if this was the place they wanted to be. I made sure they had all the information they needed about the neighborhood and the community-- dining, events, hiking, churches, schools, recreation. They did their research. Throughout the summer months I kept in touch with them and sent them lease listings as (4 comments)

Best Hot Dog in the Desert: Bobby's Coney Island Dog! - 09/28/11 05:14 PM
This family-run eatery, on Highway 111 in La Quinta, across from the"other best hot dog" at Costco. It has been open a little more than a week and today at lunch it was packed! The owners are from the Detroit area-- and also carry some Greek items and other Detroit area favorites.
