Clients are Like a Box of Chocolates... You Never Know - 11/24/11 02:42 PM

We all need a day to catch up-- do laundry, watch football, make family calls, cook, blog, paint, garden, play golf... live.

THANKSGIVING WITH THE MARINES--GIVING BACK AT LA QUINTA COUNTRY CLUB
Thanksgiving is a time for being with family.  A time to reflect on the past year and give thanks and grace to all of the blessings we have received.
One of these blessings is the freedom we enjoy living in this country.  Our troops serve selflessly for us-- and they deserve our full support and thanks.
A few families at our club are thanking the Marines from a nearby base by inviting them to share dinner with us on Thursday evening.  These Marines are unable to spend the holiday with their … (7 comments)

Think You Can't Afford to Hire an Agent? - 11/13/11 09:09 PM
My client had bought a new home and didn't think the time was right to sell her small one-bedroom condo.  She called me and said that she couldn't afford to pay me a commission to find a tenant... so she tried her luck getting it leased.  She put ads on Craig's List and hung a sign in the window.
She didn't get one call.
A month went by and then two.  She called and said... I need your help.  I cannot afford to have my condo vacant.
I don't specialize in leases, but I will do them as a service … (11 comments)

If I Could Save 3+ Hours a Week-- I Will Call My Family More! - 11/05/11 10:51 PM
If I could save 3+ hours a week... I promise I would call my family more.  I am guilty of spending too much time working, blogging, Facebooking, writing client letters, networking, and neglecting my family that lives out of state.  Even the family that live here in California... I just don't call enough.
Facebook has been wonderful for reconnecting with old friends and keeping up with clients.  But most of my older aunts and uncles don't really utilize Facebook-- even if they have an account.
