Qualified buyers contact you, make appointments, you show them many properties... they change their mind. Take their interest and dollars to another area. Buyers come to town... but need to sell their home in Oklahoma first. Sellers are unrealistic and think they have a "special property" worth much more than the comps. Seasonal renters just jump from agent to agent... It all sounds familiar, right?
I am not complaining, but I have been plugging and plugging away in this seriously challenging market... and now I finally have a few contracts coming in. Does anyone else have a hard time remembering … (44 comments)

Tom Ferry is not a cult leader. But when I joined The Lori Bowers Group over a year ago, I was afraid that he was. According to today's Desert Sun, the Valley's Housing Market is Warming!
Latest data reveals prices, sales up Prices and sales in the Coachella Valley's real estate market are rising, a new report from MDA DataQuick shows.
The median sales price of new and single-family homes rose 11 percent to about $200,000, about $20,000 higher than in February 2009.
Home sales also rose 9.4 percent compared to the same period last year.
