oklahoma: Revivng a Group on Active Rain!

Just a quick one this morning...trying to get my 12 year old ready for school and then on to the gym for me! I am trying to revive a group that was started in July of 2007, Oklahoma Real Estate. Although I am only 10 days old here I would like to see this group grow. How do I go about getting Oklahoma members involved. Should I send an invite to all of them? That could take some time. oklahoma: Should Buyers have their own REALTOR!

Often times I am asked from Buyers, "Why do I need a REALTOR?" There are several benefits to having a REALTOR to work for you. Only real estate licensees registered with the National Association of Realtors (NAR) can be termed as a REALTOR. I meet with my clients and discuss their financing options. If they have not already spoke with a lender I refer them to several and let them chose the one that works for them. A REALTOR will research the areas of the buyers interest and communicate to the buyers the latest properties available in those areas that match their criteria. … (8 comments)

I am going to vent here because this is driving me crazy! I finally get an offer on a property that has been a hard sell. The condition is great, has been updated, on an 1acre m/l (that could be a negative to some) has 3 bedrooms, we find those are sitting a bit longer in Broken Arrow than usual. It is a buyers market here in OKlahoma as it seems to be elsewhere across the nation when it comes to real estate. But to bring an offer that is $29,000 below asking price??? Oh and then ask for $5500 … (18 comments)

I know, you probably don't think it takes much to excite me but anyway! I just googled my name and I was on the 1st page!!! Now when I just entered "Kelly" in there I think I was on page 121, not sure since I only went 10 pages and gave up, but anyway, I just realized that this "tagging" is a huge deal! To all you "newbies" make sure you tag when you blog. I wasn't sure what that meant at first but now I see the importance. I am waiting to go to lunch and just rambling at this point … (10 comments)
