Welcome to Main Street Broken Arrow Oklahoma! From the time Broken Arrow became a town in 1903 until the mid 1960's the population remained fairly constant. However when the Broken Arrow Expressway opened in the mid 1960's everything changed! Despite a growing population, the quality of public safety in Broken Arrow never changed. Broken Arrow rated the stste of Oklahoma's Safest City in 2004 and #46 in the nation, based on major crime reports in cities of 75,000 or more.
