The President I am talking about is Charles McMillan, the new President of NAR. As the article in Realtor Magazine said, he is "The Right Man at the Right Time" and I think he will make a real difference. A few years ago, I was asked to serve on the Advisory Committee for the Seniors Real Estate Specialist program before it became part of NAR. Active Adult communities have a definite appeal for many retirees. Most of the communities in Coastal Delaware, the southern part of the state, have been built within the past few years. There is something for everyone and I always recommend that people consider their options carefully. For some, a community with a large clubhouse and a golf course is their dream lifestyle. For others, a community with a smaller clubhouse that is closer to the beach is the best choice. It's all about lifestyle and making the right choice is so important, especially when relocating to a new area.
