If you have read my profile you will know that I hold my Connecticut Real Estate License. I became a "Licensed Assistant" in 2003. Since that time I have sold 4 homes, the last being in early 2005. My true passion is the administrative side of real estate. However, when Linda Davis goes out of town, I am usually given the opportunity to put my Realtor skills back into action. Over the last 6 years that I have been with Linda, one of our listings ALWAYS sells while she is gone. (Sometimes we have a discussion or bet about which one it may be.) Which leaves me to handle most of the presenting, reviewing and signing of the purchase and sales agreement with our Clients. Linda usually will do the intial work via phone/email and then I will take over. I find it is a good opportunity to "keep me in the game." I am sure that this week during NAR that there will be plenty of Assistants, Client Care Managers, Transaction Coordinators, Director of First Impressions etc. dealing with this very topic. I actually will be meeting with a Seller today to get a contract signed and Linda's plane hasn't even landed in New Orleans yet!
